  • The surroundings of Planes de Son are privileged: high landscape value in an unbeatable location, between two protected natural areas such as Aigüestortes and the Estany de Sant Maurici National Park and close to the Alt Pirineu Natural Park.
    Also, the environment provides a large number of waymarked paths and routes on foot, several guidance circuits, and even Geocaching adventures.
    The discovery of the mountain itself, the pastures, the pine forests or scrublands -among other types of landscape- help us understand the world of the conservation of natural environments and appreciate the great diversity that surrounds us; always counting on the guidance of environmental educational experts.

    - The village of Son (1h10 min) 3,5 km - Easy
    - Àneu Esterri (1h 30 min) 4,5 km - Moderate
    - Refuge of the Pla de la Font (1 h 30 min) 4.0 km - Moderate
    - Gerdar Refuge on the Coll del Pas del Coro (2h 10 min) 5.9 km - Moderate
    - La Mata de Valencia (4 h 30 min) 13.0 km - Moderate
    - Circular track in Campolado (3h 45 min) 9,7 km - Moderate
    Also, do not forget to do some guidance circuits in which the main objective is to get through the track with the help of the compass and beacons in the shortest possible time!
